The Total Import and Export Volume of Printing Equipment and Apparatus Rose by 37.58% during the First Eleven Months in 2010

According to statistics released by General Administration of Customs of the Peoples Republic of China, Chinas total import and export volume was US$283.76 billion, increasing by 36.2% year on year and 15.9% month on month, breaking the record of US$273.09 billion in September this year, and the monthly import and export volume exceeded US$280 billion for the first time. Both import volume and export volume hit the new high in history.
Chinas total import and export volume from January to November in 2010 was US$2,677.28 billion, rising by 36.3% year on year. Export volume was US$1,423.85 billion, increasing by 33% and import volume was US$1,253.43 billion, increasing by 40.3%.

The total import and export volume of printing equipment and apparatus from January to November in 2010 was US$4.44755 billion, increasing by 37.58% year on year.
Import of printing equipment and apparatus

The total import volume of printing equipment and apparatus from January to November in 2010 was US$2.91675 billion, increasing by 38.13% year on year. Import volume of printing equipment was US$2.04717 billion, rising by 49.36% year on year, and import volume of printing apparatus was US$869.59 million, rising by 17.36% year on year.

The import volume of printing equipment and apparatus in November, 2010 was US$297.47 million, up 23.84% compared with October. Import volume of printing equipment was US$215.61 million, up 28.57% compared with October; import volume of printing apparatus was US$81.86 million, up 12.88% compared with October.

Import in November was much better than in October. Except the import volume of printing ink which remained basically unchanged and dropped slightly by 0.95%, all products within the scope of statistics saw growth in their import volume to different degrees: growth of post-press equipment was 100.04%, offset printing plate 52.42%, printing press 31.12%, auxiliary machine and parts 4.80%, and others 20% above.
In terms of total volume from January to November, only post-press equipment and offset printing plate dropped slightly year on year, and others all increased to different degrees, and printing press saw the largest growth, which was 64.31%.
Export of printing equipment and apparatus
Total export volume of printing equipment and apparatus from January to November in 2010 was US$1.53080 billion, up 36.55% year on year. Export volume of printing equipment was US$988.21 million, up 38.53% year on year; export volume of printing apparatus was US$542.60 million, up 33.08% year on year.
Export volume of printing equipment and apparatus in November, 2010 was US$162.08 million, export volume of printing equipment was US$105.85 million, rising by 26.54% compared with October, and export volume of printing apparatus was US$56.23 million, rising by 29.62% compared with October.
